Norton Antivirus

I've noticed that this is often included in computer package deals but is this software any good at all really? I find that when I have this software running primarily for my checks that it doesn't catch everything that other FREE programs catch, such as spybot. Does anyone else find this happening? Are there any better, cheaper programs that are out there (besides spybot) that are worth getting?

Norton is OK for a corporate solution. They offer a full security suite with firewall, that is pretty nice for letting admins know who's computers are infected.

For home use I've started recommending Panda cloud antivirus

I found Malwarebytes was much better at finding them than the paid offerings I've tried. You could give that a try too. They have a free version and you can also upgrade.

Terry, I just watched the video at their site and it makes sense. You know me though, I'm always wary of anything that involves the word "cloud". I take it you're convinced it's safer than having your own on your pc? What if someone gets into them and uses it to send out viruses?

Clouds scare me.
