Will computers always be stuck on zeroes and ones?
I know that because of the nature of silicone, computers will always be zeroes and ones. But say we made something with a property similar to silicone, and it could allow for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 in a single bit, how would that affect computers as we know them?
